WHAT MAKES A COOLBOAT?
COOLBOAT comes in a heavy duty 6-mil poly bag that can be used to store your COOLBOAT and accessories when not in use. The bag has a handle cutout that aligns with the COOLBOAT handle to make carrying easier
A sturdy, adjustable nylon strap is included to keep the separate pieces secured when carrying or storing. Also comes in handy to secure other stuff.
Foul weather gear!
COOLBOAT is constructed with waterproof everything. The stainless piano hinges are covered with flexible waterproof fabric. It has machined grooves to channel water away. But if it starts to blow, the custom waterproof fabric cover has snaps and grommets to keep it in place.
Window units don't have handles!
A custom adjustable nylon strap, with a reinforced handle and lifting ring is included. The strap fits snugly into the stamped tabs on the sides your AC unit to keep it in place. The sturdy lifting ring on top is there so a halyard or other attached line can be used to help getting it on or off your boat.
Customize your fit.
Along with instructions on customizing to best fit your hatch (if needed !) there are stainless screws and plastic pieces to help keep things from shifting or moving.

COOLBOAT is constructed from weather-resistant materials.
Testing and research led to a PVC marine board: Aqua-Plas® I Ultra.
It is lighter and stiffer, standard PVC glue results in strong bonding,
Compared to Starboard, AquaPlas is lighter, whiter and floats!

The base and body are Aqua-Plas® I Ultra.

The hinges and fastenings are stainless steel.

The snaps and grommets are nickel-plated brass.

The hinge covers are waterproof Cordura fabric.

The "raincoat" is Sunrise water-resistant canvas.
It has a nice vinyl backing.

Mods and Tweaks for 2024:
An elastic cord now runs at the top of the two sides to keep them more manageable when the top piece is raised. Also keeps them tethered and less likely for one to slide out while positioning the other one.
The side pieces"notch"is cut higher to fill in the space better at the bottom hinge area. This is more airtight and holds the sides better on assembly.
